The summer school is hosted at the Aula of the historic main building of Graz University of Technology (aka “old campus”), located at Rechbauerstraße 12, 8010 Graz.

How to reach us

By Plane

If you come by plane, the simplest way to get to the venue is to take a taxi from Graz Airport. The fare is ~EUR 35, duration ~30mins.

If you choose the train from the airport:
The fare is ~EUR 3,00 to “Graz Hauptbahnhof” (the main railway station)
Duration: ~20mins
Requires ~100m walk from the airport to the station
Leaves every 30mins.

Within the City | Public Transport

You can reach the venue via different tram lines:
Lines 1 & 7: from station “Mayffredygasse” (3 min. walk)
Line 3: from stations “Mandellstraße” or “Rechbauerstraße” (3-4 min. walk)
Line 6: from station “Dietrichsteinplatz” (8 min. walk)

Tram lines 1,7 and 6 also pass the main railway station (“Graz Hauptbahnhof”) as well as central point of transfer (“Jakominiplatz”).

Tickets

You can buy tickets at the ticket machine inside every trams or bus (accepted are coins or cards; no bank notes) or online via the OEBB website or app.

The first day

We will meet on Monday at Rechbauerstraße 12, 8010 Graz on the ground floor.

Starting from 10:00am, we will be there to welcome you with coffee and cake, and to hand you your welcome package.
The school starts at 10:30am at lecture room XX in the same building.
