Summer School 2024
Thank you for joining Graz Security Week 2024, held from 23. – 27. September! It was hosted by the IAIK – the Institute of Applied Information Processing and Communication at Graz University of Technology. This annual summer school targets graduate students interested in security, privacy, and correctness.
The main topics of the school this year were:
- Cryptography & Cryptographic Implementations
- Side Channels
- Privacy
- Safe AI
During the five-day school, participants gained awareness of these security challenges. Introductory classes were supplemented by advanced courses and practical lab sessions. Students were encouraged to present their current research topics in a special PhD Forum. During spare time participants were invited to enjoy the city of Graz and attend organized events.
Impressions from this year
Earn ECTS
All participants will receive a certificate of attendance. There is also the option to obtain a certificate with 2 ECTS credits for students that (A) give a lightning talk of their research during the PhD forum and/or (B) successfully complete the exercises of the labs.
Student Stipends
Due to the generous support of our sponsors we are able to offer free registration to a number of Master and Ph.D. students.

In case you are accepted for the stipend, you will be informed per email and registered from us for free.
